Xavier Cevrin
Born in 1974, Xavier Cevrin picked up the guitar at the age of twelve and never put it down since, or maybe just
to catch some sleep at times.
His influences began with Hendricks, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray, David Gilmour to list only a few.
He heads up to L.A. in 1991 to further his musical education where he graduated
from Musician's Institute (GIT) and UCLA Extension in songwriting and the music
business. He was also very fortunate to
to have sat in studio sessions with great musicians such as Gregg and Matt Bissonette
(Joe Satriani, Toto, David Lee Roth, etc.), Bob Daisley (Rainbow, Gary Moore,
etc.), surf guitar legend Jerry Cole, etc. After touring all over the U.S.
for many years with a gospel production, he settled in Brussels,
Belgium in the fall of 2003.
Today Xavier is fully consecrated to his music. With a background as a studio musician and music tutor, he starts a new
project "Xavier Cevrin Band" featuring various guest singers and musicians. He's been involved in various Tribute Bands such as Aretha
Spirit (Aretha Franklin Tribute band), Final Cut (Pink Floyd Tribute band), Cannonball (Supertramp Tribute band), and Tritense (Guitar legends Tribute band).
He recently joined upcoming singer/songwriter Sowfi on her upcoming album project. He is also known and sought after in the studio for his tight funky rythm skills and colorful playing that just suits the song.
After owning a few Strat's and Les Paul's, Xavier settled for a G&L Legacy Strat which he plays through a Fender Super Reverb reissue amp or a Genz Benz combo.
